The ADAS Camera adds forward-collision, lane-departure and pedestrian warnings to an MDVR system. It faces the road from the top of the windscreen, and the MDVR stores its video and the event log.

## What it detects

- **Lane departure.** Warns when the vehicle drifts out of its lane above a speed threshold you set, so slow manoeuvres do not trigger it.
- **Forward collision.** Warns when the gap to the vehicle ahead closes too quickly. The sensitivity is adjustable.
- **Pedestrians.** Detects pedestrians ahead at speeds below 50 km/h.
- **Speed limit.** An indicator reminds the driver of the limit you set.

Every alert is logged by the recorder with its video and time, and with the GPS position when the recorder has GPS.

## Installation

- The camera has no memory card. It records through an MDVR, which also stores the event log.
- Mount it high on the windscreen, centred and level. The viewing angle adjusts from 120° to 170° to suit the vehicle.
- An alarm output (200 mA) can drive an external buzzer or indicator.
- The cable and connector differ by recorder, so state your MDVR model when you order.
