On this website

When you send a quote or contact request we store the details you enter (name, email, phone, company, country, the product and quantity you ask about, and your message), the page you sent it from, and campaign parameters from the link you arrived by. The enquiry is passed to the sales system our team works in, so that a salesperson can reply. We use these details only to answer you and to understand which pages lead to enquiries. We don't sell this data or add you to mailing lists.

To limit spam we keep a one-way hash of your IP address for a short period. The site stores a small first-visit record in your browser so we can attribute enquiries to the page you first landed on.

When you tap a WhatsApp button we record the tap: the page, the campaign parameters from the link you arrived by and a random reference for your visit, with no name or phone number. A short code such as “Ref: [DC-7K3QM]” is added to the pre-filled message, so the salesperson who answers can connect your chat to that record. You can delete the code before sending.

The chat window on this site, and messages to our WhatsApp number, are answered first by Ann, our automated assistant, and then by our sales team. The conversation and any contact details you type are stored in the same sales system. If you accept analytics cookies, the chat also keeps a random visitor ID in your browser, so it can recognise a later visit, and notes the pages you view; otherwise it forgets you when you close the page.

Analytics and advertising: the site uses Google Tag Manager to load Google Analytics and, for our ads, Google Ads measurement. Until you choose, and if you decline, they set no cookies and send no identifiers, only anonymous signals that a page was viewed. If you accept, they use cookies to count visits and to see whether an ad led to an enquiry. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

In the Traqcare apps and devices

Devices send location, alarm events and the video clips you configure to the platform. The apps use service providers for push notifications (Firebase, JPush) and maps (Google Maps, OpenStreetMap). Data is stored on servers in the United States, the European Union and Hong Kong. Crash logs are kept for 30 days.

Security and retention

Access to data is restricted by role and protected in transit with encryption. Enquiries are kept for as long as needed to serve you and meet legal obligations; video retention follows the settings your fleet chooses.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to how we use it, by emailing support@dashcamforcars.com. We'll reply within 30 days.

Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed at children under 14.
