The AHD003 is an interior dome camera for vehicles that record through an MDVR. Fitted to the ceiling or a bulkhead, it covers the driver's area, the passenger aisle or a door, and the recorder stores its video as one channel alongside the others.
What it is for
- Aisle and seats. On buses, coaches and school buses, a dome camera above the aisle records boarding, seating and incidents inside the vehicle.
- Doors and cargo. Mounted near a door or in a cargo area, it records loading, unloading and access.
- Night routes. A ring of infrared LEDs around the lens lights the scene in darkness.
Its footage carries the same time and event markers as the recorder's other cameras, and the GPS position when the recorder has GPS.
Installation
- One locking aviation connector carries video and power from the recorder.
- Fix the dome base to a flat surface, then tilt the camera inside the dome to frame the area you need.
- Choose a mounting point away from direct glare from windows and interior lights.
- The cable differs by recorder, so state your MDVR model when you order.
This is a plain camera: it does not run ADAS or fatigue detection. For forward-collision and lane alerts, see the ADAS Camera; for fatigue alerts, see the DSM Camera. We send the resolution and lens angle of the current version with your quote.
